In the dark starless night,
Fireflies, you shine so bright.
On ferns you form a canopy
That sparkles like a distant galaxy.

Some gape at you in awe,
Oh, nature’s splendour so raw!
Cameras' clicks break the trance
As you move and settle in a new dance.

All night long your lights enthrall,
A sight that melts the hearts of all.
Even as dawn decides to paint the sky
Your beauty stays in the mind's eye.
